Like father, like daughter

Jonathan had bronchitis for a week. We are so thankful that he seems to finally be getting over it! London was sweet to chill with him a few times in his times of recuperating. Here she is looking amazingly like her daddy!

And again...
here are a few pictures of London looking so very sweet:

London got to experience a Bumbo baby seat for the first time today. We are excited because our friend Elizabeth is going to lend us her Bumbo seat next week! See London's excitement below:
Here is Nora and London playing.
London would let out a terrified cry every time Nora touched her face. I think Nora got a kick out of it. (see below).

London as a 5 monther

Jonathan took me to dinner at one of our favorites, Fleming's, to celebrate Valentine's Day last Friday. It was such a treat!

I set London in front of a Baby Einstein video for the first time last week so I could get some cooking done. She only lasted about 5 minutes... I'm hoping it will grow on her some so I can get some stuff done while she's awake! (She's quite fond of being held ALL the time!)
This week Laura had us out to her house for lunch. It was so tasty and so much fun! Eadie and London had fun sitting by each other a bit. And Ana came to play too!

Yesterday we went to Lil's to see how much Dean had grown. Here is London looking like a Sumo baby with Ella Reese and Dean. Ella Reese has been so kind to pass down many of her clothes to London.

London's favorite guy of all--- Daddy!

London having fun!

Daddy always makes London laugh when he does this.

Marta, my old co-worker from Scripps invited us to her house in Lenoir City this week for lunch. We had a great time catching up. This was her first time to see London!
Marta, Mel and London
Here is London with Marta and Drew's son, Andrew. He is two years old, but is so tall you would think he was much older!
When we got home from our visit, there was a package for London on our front door step! It was a Valentine's gift from my parents for London. Here she is right after we opened it:
It's a very soft caterpillar and she thinks it's lots of fun! Thanks Otis and Omegus she says!

Lillian had a baby!

I've been busy blogging on my friend Lillian's blog ( She just had baby #2 last night! His name is Dean and he's a cutie! London was sad that she couldn't meet him. (They don't allow children under 12 outside of the waiting room). I'm sure she'll get her chance soon enough!
Here's a picture of us from this morning:

4 3/4

4 3/4 months old is my new favorite age. London is so much fun to be around. It's not difficult at all to make her laugh and she is always experiencing with new inflections with her sounds. It's funny to watch her learn and explore new things.
Before London was born, her Grammy got her this little yellow outfit. I was afraid that London would never get to wear it because I didn't think the seasons would hit right. So I put her in it yesterday since it was a little warmer outside (and I want her to be able to wear it at least once!). It's simply adorable on her and I hope it still fits comes summer-time. Here are a few pictures from our photo shoot:
I wish I was a better photographer... my subject was flawless!

I LOVE this picture

I like the one below a lot. For some reason it reminds me of me.

Look at her legs in this picture!!

Fun Times in February

We took a walk with Ana and Jenny a few weeks ago. It was so cold!!

We came inside to thaw out!
I made oatmeal raisin cookies last week. And now the oatmeal container is one of London's favorite toys!

We cooked out with the Plewniak family last week. London always enjoys visiting with Lilly.

Mama Lilly in action:

We broke out the Johnny Jumper this week and I was thrilled to learn that London loves it! (hence baby as a blur in this picture)

My favorite day of all... We visited Jonathan downtown for lunch on Tuesday. The weather was beautiful and London was in a great mood despite it being during her nap-time.
You can tell she's a little drowsy here:
Even more so here:
Today Elizabeth came to have lunch with us. We had a great time!
Braden Michael will be here in just a couple of months! Here is Elizabeth at 7 months pregnant.
